Who We Are

Jane Sharkey has been teaching group exercise for the past 18 years and currently teaches Indoor Cycling within Active Inside Out. Jane, through her enthusiasm for fitness teaching, has been responsible for introducing hundreds of people in the local community to a career in fitness through Petroc.

Teresa Davies a Personal Trainer specialising in nutrition and obesity, group exercise instructor and sports massage therapist who delivers indoor cycling within Active Inside Out.  As well as lecturing and assessing on fitness programmes within Petroc Teresa brings her knowledge of massage therapies and nutrition to help improve the client’s total health and wellbeing.

Mike Sears has been teaching group exercise for many years but his heart now lies in teaching challenging workouts such as; Mixed Martial Arts/Super circuits

Abi Fragoso first trained through Petroc and now teaches in many fitness facilities in the local community. Abi enjoys teaching a fusion of dance/choreography based classes and teaches Zumba within Active Inside out

Sue Ward  has been teaching group exercise since group fitness classes first became popular.  Sue has taught many local people to become successful Exercise to Music teachers. Sue currently teaches Kettlebell within Active Inside Out.

Mary Tjornelund - Mary’s passion is Kettlebells she uses these with many of her Personal Training clients to help them with their fitness and weight loss goals. Mary currently runs a successful Kettlebell class within Active Inside Out.

Lana Murgelas is our International Representative as a native of Sweden. Lana undertook her initial fitness qualifications with Petroc and has since qualified in other disciplines. Lana currently teaches Spinning within Active Inside Out.

Jason Fern entered into fitness on leaving the Armed Forces, quickly gaining a range of qualifications in group exercise and Personal Training.  Jason manages the Gym on a day to day basis within Active Inside Out. 

David Thomas became a fitness Instructor alongside his education in Plumbing. David is a keen basketball player and Gym Instructor within Active Inside Out.
