ECOMind Art on Prescription

ECOMind Art on Prescription offers a series of programmes that delivers Artwork that will be inspired from the local environment, seascapes to landscapes, towns and villages.

Following a series of ‘art classes’ the participants will use their environment as the inspiration.  Outdoor sketchbook sessions will visually record the environment and be worked into a selection of colourful designs.  The designs will then, through discussion with the group, be considered for installation in a place where the art work can have a positive impact on the communities environment.

A travelling ‘exhibition’ of work will be displayed at several venues across North Devon culminating in the Appledore Visual Arts Festival 2012.

Three localities have been selected, Ilfracombe, Bideford and Barnstaple.

Remember, you don’t need to be an artist to be involved !
