Children and Young Peoples Workforce Level 3 Diploma

The Programme

This is the new Level 3 qualification for those who are working directly with children and young people within a variety of settings. Learners will complete the core units and then select from one of the three pathways most relevant to their role.

This award has three pathways for learners to select from dependent on their role, which are:

1. The Early Years Pathway
2. The Social Care Pathway
3. The Learning and Development Support Services Pathway

All learners will complete the core units and their core mandatory pathway units before going on to select the optional units which they wish to complete. The award will be delivered both with taught sessions, usually at Petroc, and also through one to one support and assessment within the work place. Candidates will need the agreement of their employer or placement provider as this qualification requires everyone to work together to ensure opportunities are available for assessment.
