Transporting Passengers by Taxi and Private Hire BTEC Award Level 2
The Programme
This course not only allows current and prospective drivers to develop their knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements, but it also provides a qualification related to the taxi and private hire industry.
This course will be split into taught sessions and distance learning. How determined you are to achieve will determine the length of the course. All candidates will study the following six units:
Customer Service for Passenger Transport
Passenger Transport and Equal Opportunities
Passenger Transport and Disability Awareness
Taxi and Private Hire Safety
Carriage of Luggage and Parcels by Taxi
Route Planning
Taxi and Private Hire Regulations (UK)
Costs

Dates
Flexible enrolment dates are available throughout the year.
Length of Study
Two consecutive days, or between two to four months if studied through distance learning.
