NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Management
The Programme
This course is designed for first line managers with responsibility for allocating work to colleagues, managing resources and achieving specific results. It aims to provide an opportunity to develop management performance.
The Management NVQ has been specially designed for first line managers with responsibility for allocating work to team members, colleagues or contractors, managing resources, achieving specific results and for some decision making. The qualification aims to give candidates an opportunity to develop their management performance, become more effective and to progress their career.
Candidates take three mandatory units (14 Credits):
1. Manage own professional development within an organisation
2. Set objectives and provide support for team members
3. Plan, allocate and monitor work of a team
Plus optional units (11credits) relevant to your job role.
Candidates will be supported by a vocationally experienced tutor who will plan a programme of development and assessment with each individual. This will involve arranging a number of work based observations and support in compiling a portfolio of evidence.
Costs
£495 plus certification fees.
Dates
Flexible enrolment dates are available throughout the year.
Length of Study
One year.
