Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Level 3
The Programme
PTLLS is the basic licence to teach in the lifelong learning sector. It is suitable for anyone who wishes to work as a teacher or trainer, including employers wishing to run more effective staff training.
The lifelong learning sector includes adult & community learning, voluntary organisations, work-based learning, offender education as well as colleges.
PTLLS covers: planning and delivering learning, assessing learners, creating resources and reflective practice. Through active workshop-style sessions, and via the teacher education virtual learning environment, PTLLS will make you a more effective trainer or teacher.
Costs
£292 for tuition fee and £60 exam fee.
Dates
Two courses available: either 5 x Mondays, fortnightly, January - March (Barnstaple & Tiverton) or 10 evenings (Barnstaple - Tuesdays, Tiverton - Thursdays)
Length of Study
5-day courses: 9.30am - 4.00pm
Evening courses: 5.30pm - 8.30pm
