The Programme
The course is aimed at all employees working within the catering sector or anyone with an interest in this subject area. The course is Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) accredited and is assessed through a multiple choice examination
The course will cover:
The relationship between nutrition, diet and health
The nutritional requirements of different population groups
Current policy, legislation and voluntary guidelines
The effects of food processing on nutritional content
Nutrition labelling
