Safety in the Use of Power Tools
The Programme
This course covers the importance of safety, the precautions that should be taken when using tools and issues relating to the protection and maintenance of tools. Specialist training will be included on Paslode Portable Nail Guns.
Whatever type of work is involved, the quality of the finished product depends upon the skill of the operator in selecting and using the correct tools to cut, shape and assemble the materials for the task. There is a wide range of tools available and this course covers the main portable power tools that operators should be able to use and maintain properly.
On successful completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate identifying the various power tools covered, plus a certificate of competence from Paslode.
This course is open to all skills and trades as there are no entry requirements.
