Is Planning Permission Needed?
The Programme
This short course is open to those in the construction industry who may be called upon to advise on whether planning permission is needed for construction work, or homeowners who may be considering extending or altering their properties.
Candidates will look at what is 'permitted development' within the meaning of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 and its subsequent amendments. The course will also look at the value of, and procedure for, 'Pre-Application Enquiries'.
