Nebosh National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
The Programme
This course covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards and methods of control. The syllabus is based on the Employment National Training Organisation (ENTO) standards which are reviewed regularly.
This course is designed for managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively.
The qualification is equivalent to an NVQ 3 and is widely taken as a first step towards a career in health and safety. It is accepted by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH).
