Assessor Qualifications

The Programme

Three Level 3 awards and one Level 3 Certificate are available for assessors. An advice and Guidance session is required to determine the relevant course for the candidate.

Candidates must be supported by an assessor who is qualified in the same occupational area, take part in team and standardisation meetings and have their assessments internally verified and signed off.

All candidates must have experience of working in the subject area they wish to assess (usually two years). The course is delivered in the workplace.
