Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medicines

The Programme

This course provides an understanding of the use of medication and its possible side effects. It enhances and develops knowledge of the safe administration of medication, creating a high standard of workplace competence and responsibility.

Learners are provided with a work book which includes a combination of reference information, questions and practical work.

Costs

There is currently no charge for most students.

Dates

Flexible enrolment dates are available throughout the year.

Length of Study

Most students complete within five months.
