The Programme
This is a full time programme lasting for one year, offering those aged 16 to 19 a range of other qualifications to aid in their work experience and skills training to help them decide on the right job or career path. This course will boost confidence through team building and community work and give you the necessary qualification to progress to further training, apprenticeships or employment.
The Programme Content
LEAP 3 is a holistic learning programme rather than being driven by one vocational area. Students may progress to LEAP 3 from LEAP 2 and continue with their own progression pathway. Their programme will include Functional Skills, Personal and Social Development and Vocational Skills.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. Learners will be expected to be work focused and emotionally mature.

The programme will prepare learners for the job market, apprenticeships, further education and they may undertake their own work experience.

This course starts in the 2012 / 2013 academic year.
It’s really good because you get to go on residentials and you get to experience catering. You get to do painting, decorating and woodwork.
