The Programme Content

This programme is a direct progression from the Level 1 programme. It covers Safe Working Practices; Information, Quantities and Communications with Others; Building Methods and Construction Technology; Prepare Surfaces; Apply Paint Systems by Brush and Rollers; Apply Standard Papers to Walls and Ceilings; Produce Specialist Decorative Finishes; Apply Paint Systems using High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) Spray Equipment; Erect & Dismantle Access Equipment and Working Platforms.

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade E or above, or a Level 1 Diploma in a related subject.

Costs

You will be expected to pay for your own personal protective equipment*.

Progression

You will be able to use this qualification to help you gain employment and continue training. Alternatively, you can continue to study on the Level 3 Diploma in Painting and Decorating.
