Electrical Installation Performing Engineering Operations NVQ Diploma - Tiverton

The Programme
The course content is electrical engineering biased for those who would like to work in the electrical industry but do not have an Apprenticeship. The qualification is gained through the production of an NVQ portfolio which is workshop based.
The Programme Content
Included in the programme will be a technical drawing module and three Functional Skills in Mathematics, English and IT. This course of study is not an Electrical Apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at grade E or above, including Maths, English and a science or a technology subject.
Costs
There is a student contribution of £30 towards materials which is payable at the start of the course. Students are also required to purchase safety boots.*

Tiverton Campus
Progression
Successful learners will be able to progress onto the EAL Technical Certificate or progress into the workplace with further training.
Length of Study
One year.
Academic Year
This course starts in the 2012 / 2013 academic year.
