Performing Arts BTEC Diploma

The Programme

This course will help you develop performance skills, as well as a range of disciplines. It's mainly practical and requires team working skills as well as independent learning and a personal discovery of creative expression through acting. It is an ideal course for those who want to become performers but have little practical experience.

The Programme Content

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade E or above, plus ambition.

Costs

There will be some costs towards theatre visits and workshops with professional actors/theatre companies*.

Progression

Students usually progress to the Extended Diploma in Performing Arts and there will also be future opportunities on specialised higher education courses. You could also go straight into the profession.
