The Programme
The Diploma in Plastering covers all aspect of the craft.
The Programme Content
The programme comprises: applying two coat render (scratch coat and float coat); applying two coat plaster work (different backgrounds); dry lining; forming openings; floor screeding; fixing coving; fibrous plaster work and Functional Skills.
Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at grade E or above including Maths and English. Additional learning support may be offered to those who do not have A to D grades.
Costs
You may be required to purchase safety clothing*.

Barnstaple Campus
Progression
On completion of the course students may progress to an Apprenticeship, work with training or a Level 3 Diploma.
Length of Study
One year.
Academic Year
This course starts in the 2012 / 2013 academic year.
