The Programme
This programme seeks to develop the skills already gained at Level 1 and allows students to progress in this chosen trade. The theory and practical assessments develop the skills and knowledge required to meet plumbing industry standards. When combined with work experience or employment, this provides the opportunity to gain an additional Level 2 qualification recognised by the Plumbing Industry.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of the Level 1 Introduction to Plumbing programme.
Costs
You may be required to purchase safety clothing*.

Barnstaple Campus
Progression
Towards the end of the course your personal tutor will discuss possible progression routes with you. These may include other programmes of study at Level 3 and training at work.
Length of Study
One year - three days per week.
Academic Year
This course starts in the 2012 / 2013 academic year.
Further Information
To follow a career in engineering I needed A Levels in both maths and physics which I studied at college. My tutors' support and encouragement throughout my time at college was invaluable in allowing me to achieving my long term goals in education and I am now starting at Airbus in Filton as a Graduate.
