Classical Civilisation A Level - Barnstaple

The Programme
You will study the ancient civilisations of Greece and Rome; their ruined monuments, sculptures, wall paintings and literature. The complex cultures that existed with their predecessors and successors around the Mediterranean Sea will also be covered.
The Programme Content
This is a course where you are encouraged to appreciate the distinctive values of the classical world.
Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade C or above including English Language. A good level of numeric and ICT skills are needed to process data and present your research.
Costs
There will be a cost incurred in participating in educational visits both in this country and abroad*.

AS Level one year, A Level two years.

Further Information
To follow a career in engineering I needed A Levels in both maths and physics which I studied at college. My tutors' support and encouragement throughout my time at college was invaluable in allowing me to achieving my long term goals in education and I am now starting at Airbus in Filton as a Graduate.
