Beauty Therapy BTEC Diploma - Barnstaple

Course code: FTB095

The Programme

An intensive course of study in all aspects of beauty therapy including practical skills of make up, eye and nail care, facial and body massage, electrical treatments, sports therapy, spa therapies, anatomy and physiology, dermatology and research into the scientific background to the treatments used in beauty therapy.

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs grade C or above including English and Science.

Costs

Salon uniform, personal equipment and set books will cost approximately £400. Further costs will be incurred for educational visits, manufacturers diploma courses and similar activities*.

Progression

The course equips you with the skills to enter employment in the beauty industry or progress to a Higher National Diploma in Beauty or related subjects.

Two years.
