The Programme
If you have a mindset to make connections between principles and practical systems then this programme is for you! The modules that have been assembled to make up the programme are designed to be challenging and to establish a knowledge base suitable for a career in the electronics industry or support services. It has been identified that staff who have developed these skills at this level have a direct impact on a company's bottom line.

The electronics and communication pathway includes electronics, electrical principles, instrumentation, control principles, micro-electronics, electronic and microprocessor and communication systems. Assessment is through a combination of assignments, in course assessments and end of module examinations. The major project is industry based and is acknowledged as exceptional by both academics and industry.

To follow a career in engineering I needed A Levels in both maths and physics which I studied at college. My tutors' support and encouragement throughout my time at college was invaluable in allowing me to achieving my long term goals in education and I am now starting at Airbus in Filton as a Graduate.
