Apprenticeship in Business and Administration
Apply for this courseThe Programme
Your Apprenticeship programme is made up of the following components: NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration. Level 2 Certificate in Business & Administration. Key Skills in Application of Number at Level 1, and in Communications at Level 2.
The Programme Content
Without administrators, information would be hard to find, meetings would be missed and businesses would be less productive. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail. One of the great things about the Business and Administration Apprenticeship is that almost all businesses require these skills and processes. Administration roles are also an excellent starting point to move into management once more experience has been gained.
Entry Requirements
You must be employed in order to start this programme and have a good basic education with four GCSEs at grade E or above. Enthusiasm for your subject and a willingness to work hard are essential.
Venue
Tiverton Campus
Progression
Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship programme, and you are able to demonstrate a significant increase in personal responsibilities in the workplace, you will be able to progress on to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship programme.
Length of Study
18 months, some attendance at college.
We are a good team and were already customer focused but the training made us more aware of things like health and safety and general practices. The fact that the training is in the workplace is great as the idea of studying in a classroom at college would be a bit daunting after being out of the teaching environment for so long.
