Junior Cookery Club
The Programme
Junior Cookery Club is designed to introduce young people to practical craft skills enabling them to prepare and produce dishes to a professional standard.
Through a series of practical skills workshops you will learn how to safely handle and use cooks knives and other hand tools. Using fresh ingredients students will learn how to prepare and cook a variety of foods to create exciting dishes.
The course will also cover essential aspects of food safety plus personal safety in the kitchen.
A professional tutor will be present at all times to demonstrate and provide support and guidance at every stage.
There will be no written or practical tests but a certificate of completion will be presented to each participant.
