To participate in this course you must be qualified to at least Level 2 in Hairdressing.
Suitable for students aged 16 and over. Please ring to enquire about any exceptions.

What is BASIC HAIRDRESSING REFRESHER COURSE?

Are there any entry requirements?
You must be qualified to at least Level 2 in Hairdressing.
How long will it last?
Ten weeks.
Who is the course for?
This course is for hairdressers, hairdressing today, but feel their skills need refreshing or bringing in-line with today's trends or for hairdressers who have been out of industry for a long period of time and now want to return.
What is the course content?
Over the ten week period you the tutor will assess your present skill level and design a programme suited to your individual learning needs. There will however, be many times when you work as a group on the same aspects of hairdressing. This hands-on course will be split in to approximately 20% theory and 80% practical.
How will it be assessed?
You will assess your own progression throughout the duration of the course and the tutor will also assess you through retention of information and progress made. At the end of the course, you will be presented with a Petroc course course completion certificate.
What are the fees and are there any additional costs?
£250, which will include the price of a 'practise block'.
What is the progression route?
To work towards achieving an individual Level 3 Award in each discipline.
