What Financial help is available for Higher Education?
How their child will pay for higher education is a concern for many parents, but there’s plenty of financial support available.
Your child may qualify for non-repayable help through grants and bursaries, and all eligible students can get Student Loans. Repayments on Student Loans from the government don’t start until the student has left their course and is earning over £15,000.
How much would it cost?
The costs of being a student vary between different parts of the UK - and so can the length of courses. Financial support is available, so money needn’t be a barrier. The help you can get depends on your family situation and the type of course you’re doing.
