What’s myNCS all about?
In teams of between 12 and 16 young people, you’ll experience an exciting programme of activities:
| Week .No | Activity |
|---|---|
| Week 1 | Outdoor adventure residential |
| Week 2 | A residential week, working with your community on rewarding projects and learning new skills |
| Week 3 | A week of learning more about your local community and its challenges, then designing your own social action project to address an issue you’re passionate about |
| Week 4 onwards | You’ll deliver your own social action project, over approximately five days, to make a real difference in your community |
At the end of the summer, everyone will get together for a special graduation event to recognise your achievements, with prizes for the best teams and individuals.
myNCS is a National Citizen Service (NCS) programme. NCS is a flagship government initiative aimed at supporting the Big Society:
