North Devon College held an Open Evening on the 1st December for prospective students to visit and find out more about the courses on offer in 2004. Model car racing in the Technology Department and abseiling in the Sports Hall were just two of the activities organised for the evening. Steve Eddy from Exmoor Zoo bought along Boris the Bird-eating spider for students and parents to meet, as well as a California Kingsnake and a dung-beetle.

A prestigious mock ‘Oscar’ ceremony is taking place at North Devon College on Thursday 20th May 2004 at the new theatre 150 Film & Media students will be there to accept awards and certificates for a range of outstanding films, print designs, web designs and audio work. The ceremony will be the accumulation of a year’s hard work by the students. It will give them the opportunity to promote their skills and abilities, screening their work to an audience of family, friends and other guests.
