Art competition entrants need your vote
Following the successful launch of the International Baccalaureate at Petroc, the college is now asking members of the public to help them to choose the winner of their 2009 Art Competition.
Five local schools have been working hard to interpret this year's theme which is Peace and Conflict, and the entries will be on display at the college's Barnstaple campus, Old Sticklepath Hill, on 17th and 18th November.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma will be offered at Petroc from 2010 and will give students a broad spectrum of skills. The course is recognised all over the world as an excellent, challenging alternative to
A Levels that encourages students to think broadly and consider other cultures.
Visitors to the college will be able to vote in person, including parents and students who will be attending the Open Event on Wednesday 18 November, 3.30pm to 7.30pm.
If you are interested in the International Baccalaureate Diploma, please contact Mike Ryan at Petroc on 01271 338101 or visit www.petroc.ac.uk/ib/.
