Petroc was pleased to welcome Richard Isaac from Skinner Construction who presented the winning medals and gave the guest speech. He also talked about his progression through his career and the construction industry, which was followed by a few words from Petroc’s Marc Sevette and Keith Sampson explaining why each student was chosen for their award.
“Learners, parents and employers were very proud of the recognised achievements,” said Marc, Programme Co-ordinator and Lecturer for the School of ACBE.
“I was particularly glad to have Richard Isaac as a guest speaker, especially when he spoke of the construction trades values. All of those who visited our workshops were very impressed with our facilities and delighted to see the high standard of the learners’ work.”
