Petroc Supports Earthquake Appeal
Staff and Students at Petroc Tiverton Campus will be holding a fundraising event on Thursday 31 March in order to help raise funds for those left devastated by the recent Earthquake in Japan.
Staff have been busy offering up their talents for a private bidding auction which will include offers from Jo Goldsworthy who is donating a range of her personalised gifts and Lindsey Ellicott, who teaches Watercolour part time at Petroc is offering private tuition – perfect gifts for mothers day. Charlotte Dixon-Squire is also offering one lucky bidder a homemade cake each week for a month.
Other goodies up for auction include:
- Charcoal BBQ donated by Homebase
- Two course meal for 2 with wine at The Flying Pickle
- Full body massage by qualified masseuse
- Fresh baked bread for a month, once a week negotiable dependant on amount offered
- Hand tied Bouquet donated by Farm Flowers
- 3 evenings Babysitting (by enhanced CRB checked adult) can bid for 1 evening or all!
- 3 hours of Gardening
- 2 free piano lessons
- Receive a home-made cake a week for a month
- A water colouring painting of your house or garden
- Free design of a business card
- Personalised gifts which you can request at any time of the year to fit in with birthdays/Christmas etc
Alongside the auction there will be a raffle, bric a brac sale and cake sale, including homemade scones, jam, cream and endless tea made by our catering students for just £2 with beauty and holistics offering mini manicures and face painting for £3 each.
Raffle tickets are £2 a strip or £5 for three strips and can be bought from The Hub at reception.
The event will be on Thursday 31 March between 1.30pm and 4.00pm in our Exe Restaurant and will be open to the public. So please come along and show your support.
