Travel and Tourism students' charity success
Date: 2nd February 2012
Second Year Travel and Tourism students at Petroc, led by lecturer Clare Chapple, raised £438.25 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
The students organised the fundraising event ‘Acoustic Winter Wonderland’ at Boston Tea party in December, which saw local acoustic artists come together to offer an evening of entertainment.
They also arranged a silent auction and street collection that both contributed to the final total.
They are pictured presenting their cheque to Chris Sherry from Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
