Petroc has announced the first phase of a ten year strategy to improve its estate for students and staff in Barnstaple and Tiverton.
Thanks to funding from the Government’s Enhanced Renewal Grant (ERG) the College can begin a £3 million programme of essential improvements to buildings at the main Barnstaple Campus.
In total, just over 5,000 m² of classrooms and internal space will be remodelled and re-equipped with new Information Technology (IT) and teaching equipment.
This work will be the next in a long line of major developments at the College, following on from the much-needed renovation work at the top of Barnstaple’s A and E blocks and the successful transformation of the Brannams site into a fully functioning campus.
The forthcoming project is featured in today’s North Devon Journal: http://www.thisisnorthdevon.co.uk/College-plans-ambitious-facelift/story-15431802-detail/story.html
