Student Transport
Planning to study at Petroc? Uncertain about your travel options, fees or how to apply for help with Transport? These pages will help you understand the most cost effective way of getting to College.
At Petroc we know that this is an exciting time for you, but are aware that there is a lot that is new. So on the following pages, you will find information about all of your transport options and as you are thinking about your options here are some of our handy hints….
Explore all of your options:
- Devon County Council transport scheme
- Public Bus service
- Car Sharing
Think about how you want to pay for your pass or tickets:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
Are you able to get to a Public Bus Route?
- Map for Barnstaple
- Map for Tiverton
- Journey planner for Music Academy learners
(If you can not access a public bus route, please contact Petroc for further details)
Are you starting an apprenticeship at Petroc?
If yes, you could apply to the College Transport Scheme - Please contact the Guidance Centre for more information
Are you registered Disabled?
If yes, you could apply for a funded/ discounted pass through the Devon County Council
Are you in receipt of a Qualifying Benefit?
You may be able to access remission for a reduced travel fee
Are you on a low family income less that £30,810 (and not in receipt of these benefits)?
You may be able to access remission for a reduced travel fee
Do remember the bus schemes DO NOT cater for/ include your induction day – so please plan your own way here for induction day. The induction day will take place before the first day of term in September 2011.
