Travel to The Academy of Music & Sound, Exeter

If you are planning to study at The Academy Of Music And Sound, then you will automatically be unable to access the subsidised scheme provided by The Devon County Council.

As Exeter is well accessed by a range of public bus services, it may be worth contacting the bus companies direct, as in some circumstances purchasing a daily, weekly or monthly ticket through the appropriate provider may prove more cost effective.

To establish which company serves your area, their direct contact details and for further route information, please visit traveline. Most tickets can then be purchased directly from the bus driver, via the companies website or by visiting your local Tourist Information or Bus Station.

However, if you are a Petroc learner studying at The Academy of Music and Sound, aged under 19 before the start of your course and live more than 3 miles away from the campus, then you may be able to access the college transport scheme. Learners can obtain further guidance, fee information and make an application by contacting:

A form will be sent out to you, which should be completed in full and returned to the address above.

This must be supported with a colour passport sized photograph and either a form of payment or evidence of a suitable qualifying benefit (dated within the last 3 months and applicable for September 2011).

To avoid disappointment or delay, applications should be made as soon as possible and ideally in June. Application forms can also be collected from the College.

If you do not return your form by 1st July 2011 you will have to make your own way to and from college at your own expense while your application is processed.
