PUS Values

To achieve our vision and mission we believe three core values are crucial:

Equality

We believe there should be equality of opportunity for everyone to participate fully in a society that celebrates diversity

Message from the President:

Hi, I’m Phoebe Craine and I’m the President of Petroc Student Union’s Tiverton Campus. The main aim of the Student Union is to provide students with a voice on all happenings within the college as well as the power to change things for the good of all students. We are also here to make sure students have a great time at Petroc, so we put on events throughout the year, the climax of these being the Summer Ball; the Ball is a chance to wish each other a good summer if students are coming back next year or to say goodbye to a few old friends.

My main job as President is to manage the Executive Team with Sarah Brown (The Student/Staff Liaison Officer) and make sure that they are giving students the best chance to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of college students as a whole.  I am also the Student Governor.

If any students need any assistance at all, I would ask them to not hesitate to contact me in the common room office at any time within my office hours, or on my email address which is readily available. I am happy to help. After all, there wouldn’t be a Students’ Union without the Students.

Have a good year,

Phoebe Craine - Student Union President
