What we do
Petroc is the biggest Further Education (FE) college in Devon. Most of our full time students (between a fifth and a quarter of the 18,000 learners we work with each year) are school leavers aged 16-19 on A Level, Diploma Apprenticeship and other vocational course programmes but we’re more than a Sixth Form.
We deliver all kinds of learning opportunities to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, from Apprenticeships and other work-based learning, adult education classes (for fun or to gain qualifications) and employer training, to Higher Education (HE) degree courses in partnership with Plymouth University.
Add our on-site nurseries, supported learning programmes and close links with our local schools and we pretty much have something for everyone.
On top of all that, we also organise fun events that promote learning and raise money for good causes in our communities.
