Autumn 2020 Enrolments

Unsure what to study this year? Looking for your perfect course?

...It's not too late to make this year count!

At Petroc, learners have access to state-of-the-art facilities, gain invaluable work experience, join exciting and informative academies and clubs, and receive excellent support from tutors. It’s no wonder our students gain outstanding results year on year!

We have an extensive range of programmes ready for you to join. Whether you are a school-leaver wanting to study a Vocational or A-level course; are considering studying for a degree; or like the idea of an apprenticeship, we have a course to suit you and the support to help you make the right decision.

Vocational programmes

These programmes focus on both practical and theoretical elements. You'll be required to undertake a range of exams and assessments and carry out work experience or industry placements. A vocational course will give you the skills and qualifications needed to progress on to university, an apprenticeship or employment.

A-levels

A-levels are suitable if you enjoy academic study and are considering going on to university - although they are also a good route for moving on to apprenticeships or straight into employment. We have over 30 A-levels to choose from!

Higher Education

Our university-level courses offer high quality, flexible study in a caring and supportive environment where you'll benefit from smaller class sizes and a two-day week timetable. If you don't have the grades you need to study a degree, our Access to HE courses can help you prepare for higher-level study.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship gives you hands-on experience, a salary, and the opportunity to train while you work. We offer a wide range of high quality apprenticeship programmes across Devon to develop industry-specific skills, delivered by qualified tutors and experienced practitioners. Apprenticeships are suitable for anyone over the age of 16.

Year 3 Study

All 16-18 year olds are entitled to three years’ worth of funding, and Petroc is offering a range of one-year courses for anyone who has completed their two-year Level 3 qualification and would like to gain additional skills and qualifications. Some courses will enhance the skills you already have, whilst others will give you the opportunity to develop a life skill or employability skill.
