David Chalmers

David has spent most of his life working in media, starting with selling advertising space and ending up running commercial operations across Asia Pacific for the Economist Group. He studied German and Law at Edinburgh University and used that grounding to move into business – this is why he is passionate about education. David co-founded The Kaleidoscope Trust – a charity which lobbies for LGBT rights – and is a trustee of North Devon Sunrise and sits on Fremington Parish Council. In his spare time he loves walking his dog, Archie, on the beach.
