How an Apprenticeship Works

Apprenticeships are made up of qualifications gained in the workplace and at College. See What goes into an Apprenticeship Framework?

The training that takes place in College is delivered at one of Petrocís specialist training centres - Barnstaple or Tiverton Campus - by qualified tutors and experienced practitioners. The Apprentice attends College on a day or block release basis depending on the occupational area.

AT COLLEGE AND IN THE WORKPLACE, APPRENTICES LEARN IN A PRACTICAL ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY ARE GUIDED, SUPPORTED AND ENCOURAGED.
