Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) is a programme developed to up-skill employees within small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
SSW works by providing recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses to enhance your employees’ skills, increase the competitiveness of your business and boost the local economy.
As part of this fantastic opportunity for your business and employees, Petroc is able to offer a wide variety of fully funded courses to help progress your workforce. Upon engaging with the project, your business will receive an in-depth training needs analysis, helping your business to identify how you can upskill your workforce. The employees undertaking the courses will also receive an information, advice and guidance session, providing them with the opportunity to identify their own training needs and how they can progress within their job role.

Fully Funded - Level 2 Diploma in Care
This 12 month qualification is suitable for people in front line care positions. This would include care settings such as Care Homes and Domiciliary Care.
Fully funded - Innovation in a Post Covid 19 World (Remote sessions)
Covid-19 has changed the world as we know it and as a result has had a significant change on consumer behaviour. This course for SMEs in the food production industry, explores the consumer trends that are emerging as the world starts to return to a 'new normal'. The course looks at how you create commercial opportunities in this changing world.
Fully funded - Managing Change in a Post Covid-19 World (Remote sessions)
Aimed at Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders in any business sector or organisation, this course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to adapt your business plan and motivate staff in this new, post Covid world.
