You will have the opportunity to design your own European experience and go on an inspirational overseas residential trip.
This valuable and interesting study programme could be your passport to that dream career in this fast-paced and dynamic world. The qualification includes units in
- the cruise sector

- developing fun activities for children.
What's more, developing air cabin crew skills is also part of the programme at Petroc, so welcome aboard Petroc Air!
Not surprisingly, work experience forms an exciting and valuable part of the programme and is an assessed unit in its own right. In the second year, you will be given the opportunity to design your own European experience by planning and going on an exciting overseas residential, previous locations have included Barcelona, London, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
All units are assessed through assignments which are set and marked by the lecturers. These assignments form the basis of continuous assessment of your achievements. The final grades awarded for units will be either Pass, Merit or Distinction and from these, an overall grade is awarded for the qualification. This grade is then converted to university tariff points if required.
To be accepted onto a two-year Level 3 programme, all entrants must hold at least a grade 4 in GCSE Maths and a grade 4 in GCSE English, as well as at least three other GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above. Certain subjects require a minimum of GCSE grade 6.
We also accept a full Level 2 vocational qualification in a relevant subject at Merit or above.
This qualification can lead you into a Foundation Degree in Business and Events Management at Petroc, or to apply to other universities to study an honours degree in a related subject.
