This course is designed to prepare learners for the Edexcel GCSE Maths syllabus and will offer an option for learners to undertake their GCSE exam here at Petroc.
Weekly sessions will include virtual classroom learning, webinars and online tutorial.
Study from the comfort of your own home, in your own time, and at your own pace.

Students will undertake termly assessment to check progress. The final exams will be undertaken during the May/June exam season at our main site in Barnstaple.
You should already be working at Level 1
Functional Skills mathematics Level 2 is a key qualification for employment, further and higher education.
Access to the internet and a personal computer are essential. It is recommended that you buy a text book for home study. You will also need a scientific calculator and a geometry set. The teacher will advise the best calculator to buy.
You will need access to the internet to complete this course.
