Individual help and guidance to get on a path that's right for you.
This specialist study programme is part time and lasts for seven weeks. It's very flexible, so that whatever your personal goals and challenges, the course can mould around them. The aim is to give you the chance to work out what interests you, and help you make the leap into further education or the world of work.
You will explore your options, what you like, what you're good at and what possibilities there are out there for you. You will go on employer trips and explore effective thinking, enterprise and interpersonal skills. You will complete the programme with a professional, completed CV and covering letter. The programme is designed to lay the foundations you will need to move towards living independently and gaining employment or further training.
This course is for learners aged 16 to 18 years. There are no formal qualification requirements.
Once you have decided how you want to move forward, you have lots of progression choices including college courses, vocational areas, traineeships, apprenticeships or employment.
Learners will need to bring their GCSE results.
