This introductory short course will provide you with the necessary skills to effectively undertake small plumbing tasks around the home.

A practical hands on course to help you tackle jobs around the home or a pathway enabling career change or progression.

This course will cover:
- Cold water supply, servicing taps and valves
- The basics of jointing plumbing materials around the home
- Fixing leaks and the basics of fault finding in domestic properties
- Installation and servicing of wear and bathroom fittings around the home
- Understanding hot water supplies and the basics of heating
- External taps, fitting sand hoses
There is no formal assessment for this course.
There are no entry requirements for this course. It is suitable for beginners, those looking to extend their skills or those looking to progress into a career in plumbing.
You could progress onto a Diploma in Plumbing Studies Level 1.
You will need to wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing. All materials are included.
