Two lecturers from Exeter University’s Medical School visited Access to HE Diploma in Science students at Petroc’s Mid Devon campus on Tuesday (January 24).
Students enjoyed a short talk on the exciting career opportunities within the medical imaging department at the medical school.
The talk also provided tips on interviews and admissions process, overviewed the science behind a variety of medical imaging techniques and highlighted how medical imaging integrates with the many other healthcare professions.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions and gain hands-on experience with x-ray machinery.
The experience was greatly valued by the Access to HE students and the Science staff at Petroc, and it is hoped these talks will become a regular event.
