Creative Industries

Industry leading courses

Employing millions of innovative and ground-breaking individuals worldwide, the creative industries include everything from art, media and music to performing arts and dance.

Whatever your creative passion, you will be given the opportunity to hone your talent and explore your creativity. Our Creative Industries vocational courses will give you the ability and confidence to help you stand out in these competitive industries and our lecturers will share their expertise and support you every step of the way.

If you study music or performing arts, you will have the chance to get involved in a whole host of productions and performances throughout the year. You will also have access to Nexus – our specialist performance zone – which boasts a large stage, dressing rooms, a lighting rig and sound system, four rehearsal booths, Protools recording studio, and three 4K cameras connected to a live streaming controller and recorder.

Our spacious and inspiring art and media studios house a variety of creative equipment including 3D printers, Apple Macs, darkrooms, editing suites and screen printers, which allow you to explore a range of creative pursuits.

Our students go on to achieve success in a wide range of roles in the creative industries, from performers to technicians, composers to designers, film-makers to fine artists.

Many of our performing arts students have also gained places at prestigious, internationally-renowned schools and conservatoire - and all students progress onto their first choice university places.

"Working on my final major project was a highlight for me. We had so much freedom in choosing what we wanted to individually work on."
