Award in First Aid at Work (Requalification)
The qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness. The qualification also covers first aid skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness such as chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis.
The qualification covers knowledge such as:

Cost : Total Fee £144
This course is assessed via practical observation and written questioning, which are graded as pass or fail.
You must be 16 years of age or above. It is also advised that you have a minimum of Level 1 in English and Maths or equivalent and have completed the original Award in First Aid at Work.
Upon completion of this course, you will be a recognised Level 3 first aider. You will be required to take a refresher every three years.
