Diploma in Adult Care

This course is for adult learners who have previously completed a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker qualification and have progressed into a more senior role within a care organisation. You will need an excellent base knowledge of the care sector and its demands before you embark on this qualification.

During this course, you will gain an insight into the behind the scenes requirements for care settings, including effective planning, staff management, and regulation adherence.

Understanding your role, its remit and influence are included throughout the units on this course and you will be given the tools needed to manage a team and setting with senior management support, and enable you to be an effective leader.

You will learn in small groups which run along a seminar module and you will use your experience to reflect on practice and your own approach.

This course requires you to be in post in a care setting with clear managerial responsibilities.
