The Technical Qualification (TQ) is the main classroom-based element of the T Level and will see you learn from a curriculum that has been shaped by industry experts. T Level courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content will meet the needs of industry and prepare you for work. They provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.

During this course, you will learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of legal occupations.

You will study the following units:
– Regulation
– Professionalism and ethics
– The business environment
– Security and risk

You will also undertake a 315-hour (minimum) industry placement.

This T Level is intended to be as practical as possible. You will not only learn these skills in preparation for your career, but you’ll also be undertaking lots of practical hands-on activities, projects and tasks to give you the experience employers are looking for. You will review case law and be asked to make judgements and recommendations based on the legal research you carry out.
