Manufacturing Production and Operations Management (IOSCM)
This Level 6 qualification is delivered by the Institute of Supply Chain Management and will develop and teach you valuable topics which you can apply to your career/business.
You will gain skills in specific areas of the manufacturing and production processes depending on the units you choose to study.
The flexibility of the unit selection means you can customise your qualification so it is entirely tailored to you. Choose units that will benefit your current role or those that will give you the skills required to take your career to the next level.
The qualifications are available in three different sizes, depending on how many units you choose and therefore, how long you will spend studying.
Award: Consists of one core unit and is the shortest available qualification, support 6 months
Certificate: To complete, you will need to study one core unit and two further units (either core or optional). This will help you to develop your knowledge across a number of key topics, but is not the same full qualification as the Level 5 Diploma, support 18 months
Diploma: More in-depth and comprehensive, to complete you will need to study one core unit and three further units (either core or optional), support 24 months
Extended Diploma: To gain the extended diploma you must complete one core unit and an additional five units (either core or optional), support 36 months

Assignments are completed and submitted via the IoSCM Learning Platform. Assessments are based around the assessment criteria and learning objectives. Word counts will vary through levels of study.
